In order to give back to the community, Lindsay decided to donate all of her author's proceeds from THE FUNERAL DIRECTOR'S WIFE to Oklahoma Homicide Survivors Support Group (OHSSG), a nonprofit organization that assists families who've been affected by senseless crime.
According to their website, OHSSG "strives to offer emotional support, direct survivors to community resources, include survivors in community events directed to survivors and loss by homicide, and attend events, including trials and memorial events, at the request of survivors." They've also financially assisted families with immediate needs such as travel costs for attending trials and continuing education.
